Yesterday, I wrote about the importance of providing more value for others if you want generate more income.  For today's post, I've composed a list of 25 ideas for adding value to the lives of others.

1. Entertain them - The entertainment industry is huge. Consider how much money is made from just movies, television and video games alone. If you can find a way to provide entertainment to others, you can convert that value into cash for yourself.
2. Solve their problems - An interesting definition of an entrepreneur I have heard is someone who solves problems at a profit. Find a problem that people need to solve and solve it for them.
3. Teach them - Consider an area where you have extensive knowledge. There are likely many people who would like that information and are willing to pay for it. You can give it to them by teaching them directly or through information products.
4. Automate something - There are many menial, repetitive tasks that people engage in. By automating these tasks, people free up time to do more important things.
5. Improve their health - Health concerns are a major problem in today's society. Help someone lose weight or become stronger and you will be handsomely rewarded.
6. Improve their self-esteem - Our level of happiness is closely related to our self-esteem. Making people feel better about themselves is one of the best ways to add value to their lives.
7. Make them more optimistic - Our happiness is also closely linked to how we anticipate the future will be. Help someone be more optimistic and you have added significant value to their life.
8. Help them grow - Consider how much income is generated in the personal development industry. People have a natural thirst for growth.
9. Help them contribute - The feel that you are making a difference is very fulfilling. Find a way to give people that feeling.
10. Help them gain security - Consider how much money is made by insurance companies. The desire for security is very high. How can you help others gain security?
11. Help them gain freedom - People want to feel as though they have the ability to choose how to live their lives. How can give people this sense of freedom?
12. Become more attractive - In present day culture, a large emphasis is placed on being attractive. Help someone become more attractive and you will have delivered a great deal of value.
13. Help them make friends - Friendships add a great deal to our lives. Helping people connect can be the cornerstone of a very successful business.
14. Make them feel understood - There is a lot of value in feeling understood. It inspires loyalty and trust.
15. Help them make more money - By helping others make more money, you yourself can benefit financially yourself. Consider how many internet marketing products are out there right now.
16. Reduce their stress - People today are reporting high stress levels. Help them cope.
17. Increase their happiness - This is what people want. Find a way to give it do them directly.

19. Deliver quality - Quality is giving what you promise and then some. Deliver quality and the money will follow.
20. Help people connect - Consider the success of social networking sites like MySpace and Facebook. These sites have made it easier for people to connect with one another.
21. Make things portable - Some of the most popular technological devices are the ones that can be used on the go. Consider the cell phone, PDA and MP3 player.
22. Make things more user friendly - The failure of a lot of products comes down the fact that they weren't easy and intuitive for the end user.
23. Take away risk - People are scared of being ripped off. Alleviate their fears by offering money back guarantees if they are not satisfied.
24. Make people feel special - Don't just treat others as means to an end. Treat all your customers with the utmost respect.
25. Improve their quality of life - This is the essence of delivering value. Anything and everything that you do that improves their quality of life is, by definition, providing value.

Use these suggestions as a starting point for creating value for others.
